TEXAS PRIVATE SECURITY LEVEL III & LEVEL IV COMBINATION COURSE

These are the two courses necessary to obtain the State of Texas Level III Armed Security Officer License and the Level IV Personal Protection Officer License. Students will learn the basic requirements for employment as an armed security guard & personal protection officer. The Level III security officer training course will provide the firearms requirements to be able to work legally as an armed security officer in the state of Texas. The Level IV training course will provide the personal protection requirements to be able to work legally as a bodyguard in the state of Texas. Armed security guards in the state of Texas must complete a Level III renewal course (6 hours) within a two year period from the date of licensing and every two years following. The state has the right to revoke your license if you do not requalify for your Level III license every two years. This means that you will have to complete the Level III License course (30 hours) again.

Personal protection officers in the state of Texas must complete their Level IV renewal course every two years. The state has the right to revoke your license if you do not renew your Level IV license every two years. This means that you will have to complete the Level IV course (15 hours) again.
